 GWY-700 Operations
GWY-700 reads and writes RFID tags and converts the data so it can be used with a PLC or computer. This Gateway has one serial port for field communications and programming. The port supports RS232, 485, and 422 at baud rates up to 115 k.

It has a built-in antenna and operates with standard RFID tags with a 13.56 MHz frequency. With the internal antenna, the sensing distance is approximately 80 mm.

Our Windows based Gateway setup software makes it easy to configure the RFID protocol converter. Using a simple spreadsheet format, the user decides which registers should be mapped to the RFID data fields. Reading or writing to the tag is secured and reliable using authentication and encryption. In addition, the Gateway offers very high data integrity check while transferring the data to the tag. Powerful software features allow you to have all of the information transfers done continuously or under PLC control registers.
