ASTRA is Windows based Human Machine Interface Software for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA). ASTRA is a full fledged, feature packed and user friendly SCADA package that helps industrial users to address their manufacturing process automation needs. 

It operates on the windows 9X/2000/XP/NT platforms and will very soon be Windows CE compatible. ASTRA can monitor and control industrial processes by communicating to loop Controllers, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Data Acquisition Systems and other field instruments. Device drivers for all popular PLCs have been developed & tested and are available with ASTRA.

The complete designs of ASTRA and its drivers have been done using the Object Oriented Methodology to ensure high-grade reliable software. Given its applicability in critical areas, great care has been taken to guarantee the robustness of the product. More than 4000 test cases take an efforts of more than 14 person-months for formal testing before release, further enhancing the reliability of ASTRA in SCADA applications. Drivers have been specially designed and are flexible enough for the user to configure applications to increase protocol efficiency. All these modern presentation features are easy to use and provides higher productivity.
